Oakley Moore is an award-winning interior design studio based in London, working in the UK and internationally. Following a career in luxury goods PR, photography and design in Paris and London, founder Kate Aslangul furthered her studies at the prestigious KLC School of Design before beginning a career in interior design and eventually launching Oakley Moore.
The ethos of the studio is open and intuitive with functionality and the needs of the client at the core of the design process. The studio offers a distinct and fresh perspective on classic tailored decoration with a modern twist.
Established in 2017 this versatile studio is recognised for its compelling use of colour and pattern, sourcing original materials, and using a thoughtful mix of antiques, bespoke and contemporary pieces to create unique moods and schemes for each room whilst maintaining a clear vision for the coherence of the whole project. Kate brings enthusiasm, creativity and knowledge to each project along with a patience and attention to detail that is imperative for a successful long-lasting result. The studio is equally happy undertaking redecoration projects, as well as full project refurbishments, adapting their aesthetic to work with the architecture and location of the project, and the taste of each client.
The studio offers the full gamut of interior design services including art consultancy and antique sourcing. Recent projects include elegant yet relaxed, family homes in London, Paris and Geneva, country houses across the UK, as well as chalets in the Alps and a beach house in the South of France.
