Oakley Moore is an award-winning interior design studio based in London working globally. Following a career in luxury goods PR in Paris and London, founder Kate Aslangul furthered her studies at the prestigious KLC School of Design before beginning a career in interior design and eventually launching Oakley Moore.
The ethos of the studio is friendly, flexible and intuitive. Our clients are the cornerstone of our design process; every project begins with a thorough understanding of the individual brief and needs of each client.
We believe the comfort of a room is as important as its beauty which is why we begin each project understanding how the space is going to be used. We are proud of the versatility of our projects, sourcing original materials, and using a thoughtful mix of antiques, bespoke and contemporary pieces to create unique moods and modern decorative schemes for each room whilst maintaining a clear vision for the coherence of the whole project. Kate brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm, creativity and knowledge to each project along with a patience and attention to detail that is imperative for a successful timeless design which transcends trends. The studio is equally happy working on a one room consultation to a full interior design project, adapting their aesthetic to work with the architecture and location of the project, and the taste of each client. Our hands-on approach, tight budget management and transparency mean that much of our work comes through referral and repeat business.
The studio offers the full gamut of interior design services including art consultancy and antique sourcing. Recent projects include elegant, liveable family homes in London, Paris and Geneva, country houses across the UK, as well as chalets in the Alps and a beach house in the South of France.
Winner of Best Living Space – Europe Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2019; shortlisted in two other categories: Interior Design Scheme – Europe and Architectural Glasshouse.
Shortlisted in 2019 for The Design Society’s Best International Interior Designer Award.
Finalist 2023 SBID Awards for Interior Design – Residential House UK
We waited 3 years after moving in before we were ready for an interior designer. Oakley Moore completed a major project for us and it has been such a success; from their understanding of our basic ideas, their ability to transform these to a beautiful reality and to manage the whole process in such a thorough and focused way made them the ideal partner for the project. We have every intention of continuing to work with Oakley Moore and Kate Aslangul on our next project.

“Working with Kate has been one of the very best decisions I have made. Without Kate, I simply would not be able to accomplish everything that I wanted to get done in such little time. Her vast expertise and creativity, have saved me countless hours and money. She is knowledgeable, creative, competent, professional, and she has a great attitude and an excellent work ethic.
