The sympathetic renovation and redecoration of an 18th century house in Worcestershire, where we respected our client’s wishes to avoid something which was too “tweedy”, and instead create “a country house with a bite”, that also had a cosmpolitan feel to it, which reflected our client’s international backgrounds.
The brief was to bring in the wonderful views and fill the house with colour and light, creating a seamless relationship between the house and the surrounding landscape. Working closely with the clients, Oakley Moore was responsible for giving the house a vibrant update using a sophisticated balance of colours and textures to give each room its unique identity whilst maintaining the flow.
