NEXT STOP// The Ranakpur temple is one of the larg

NEXT STOP// The Ranakpur temple is one of the largest and most important temples of Jain culture. Construction started in the 15th century, took over fifty years to complete and required 2785 workers.

The temple is a grand white marble structure spread over 4,500 m2 made up of 1444 intricate marble pillars, twenty-nine halls,eighty stunning domes and 426 columns. The 1444 pillars are individually carved with no two pillars the same.

Impossible to photograph and do it justice but I tried my best!
