Last week I was delighted to be invited by House & Garden to join a panel of design experts from ‘The List’ for a speed dating event, which was organised as part of their Spring Fair Artisan Market at Chelsea Barracks. An event which coincided with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Each House & Garden reader came armed with their decorating dilemmas, with some bringing floor plans, and others photographs. With 15 minutes per session, each reader had the opportunity to ask each expert panel member advice on whatever they wanted. We had a such a huge variety of dilemmas – from spatial planning and floor layouts, right through to window treatments and paint colour choices for whole houses, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
It really was a ‘think quick on your feet’ moment and I am sure all the readers went home with their heads spinning with inspiration and exciting ideas!
