This 1960’s French tapestry was the jumping off This 1960’s French tapestry was the jumping off point for one of the bedrooms in my house in France which has been undergoing an extensive renovation recently. I’m always drawn to pieces with character so I was thrilled when I spied this tapestry in a flea market in France a while back and knew instinctively which room it would be perfect for in time. Sometimes it’s a rug, sometimes a fabric design or even a particular colour that sows the initial seed for a design but I do love it when it’s a piece of art.
