A writer’s house in west London.

We were commissioned to design this west London kitchen. Our brief was to create not only a kitchen for someone who loves to cook but for someone who is passionate about pattern and colour. We chose the wallpaper Lioness and Palms in midnight from favourite wallpaper company @commonroom.co, we picked paint colours for the walls and cabinets from @edwardbulmerpaint and @littlegreenepaintcompany and topped it off with @mosaic.factory zellige tiles to create her happy place in jewel tones.

Presentation done and dusted today for a project in south west London.

We’ve been working on the design of this whole house renovation for quite a few months now which means lots of thought, lots of drawings, lots of samples and lots of time. It’s so rewarding seeing the whole scheme come together - here’s a snap of some of it laid out in the studio.

We loved 💚💙working on the refurbishment of this home for private clients in Primrose Hill combining classic features and contemporary design.

We imagined the look and feel for the whole house designing most of the furniture bespoke for the space and choosing some complementary key new and vintage pieces.

This basement extension added a large open plan kitchen, dining and living space to a very special Georgian house. Large in size, grand in design this space offers every ounce of home comfort and functionality.

The kitchen worktop is from Yorkshire, Swaledale stone is a fabulous crinoidal limestone full of fossils and character; the splash back is in stunning Amazonite. All cleverly sealed with long lasting sealant.

The cabinets are painted in Teresa’s Green and the walls in Pale Powder both from @farrowandball. We used pops of red in the blind and the leather @soanebritain chairs to make the stone fly.

The cabinetry was thought through to give a place for every kind of @lecreusetuk pan, dried goods, herbs, a tea and coffee station packed full of herbal teas, green teas, black teas, arabica coffees from around the globe. This is a kitchen for a couple who take their kitchen very seriously and enjoy every minute of the rituals of cooking for themselves and for friends.
